Ok, I have to share this as it was SO funny, I literally thought it was a late April Fool's joke email when I received it.
A few days ago I emailed Amazon Support to inquire as to why Amazon reviews (that contacts have told me they've written) are not showing up on the Amazon website for my book "Smart Marketing for Local Businesses".
Initially I received a very generic email response from Amazon to which I replied and asked for my inquiry to be escalated to someone who could look into the issue properly. Today I received the following response from the person who'd apparently looked into the situation. It made me burst out laughing! I hope it gives you a giggle too.
I do apologize for the inconvenience caused regarding the reviews which you mentioned are not visible on your books. I'd like to research the situation but unfortunately, I couldn't find the reviews based on the information at my disposal.
I could not help myself. I wrote the following reply back.
LOL! Is this message a late April Fool's joke? If I could see the reviews on the Amazon website and could link to them, would I be writing to you complaining that reviews aren't showing up on the site?
To everyone who's written reviews for my book, which unfortunately haven't shown up, thank you so much, I truly appreciate your effort (even if Amazon doesn't ;)
